Owls
During this month, we discuss the vertebrate group of birds. It is always fun to include owls as a bird of prey to be highlighted. I always like to order some owl pellets for the children to explore.
The children look for the many little bones or hair to be found in each pellet and we try to determine what kind of animal the owl had eaten. Owl lesson can be found in Week 12 – Day 5 of the curriculum pages.
