Scarecrows

This week we read about scarecrows. The story, “The Scarecrows Hat” is now a Book on the Shelf work choice. I am always amazed how after reading a story one time,  how much the children are able to remember what happens next and with which character.

Pumpkins

It has been a busy week with fall activities. We read a story about a little a boy named Johnathon that finds a seed. He planted it to see what kind it was.  We found out that the plant growing had a vine for its stem and tendrils on it.
